Welcome to the site of Assistant, a five piece band from Brighton, UK who plays offbeat, odd and tuneful indie-pop music. They're not sure who they sound like, but are big fans of early Blur, Pulp, Low and the Pixies, amongst other things. Most of their songs are about feeling foolish or lonely, or lazy or drunk. They've played a bunch of gigs in London and Brighton and recorded lots of songs, some of which you can listen to here.
